What will this role achieve?
As Trade Accounting Finance Manager, you will manage sales accounting processes/business changes and improvements, providing the Genpact Sales Accountants with regular guidance and support. Challenging existing working methods, ensuring that Sales Accounting processes adopt best practice. Looking for best practices with the Trade Investment, Customer Finance and Sales teams.
What will be your key deliverables?
Please note: This role is on a part time basis, working 28 hours across the week (Mon - Fri)
* To proactively manage the Genpact Sales Accounting team and ensure they are delivering in with agreed KPIs.
* To track performance against KPIs and develop corrective action plans as required.
* To drive continuous process improvement across the Sales Accounting team, working with Genpact and internal stakeholders as appropriate. Process owner for any projects relating to Sales Accounting process changes.
* To ensure the Sales Accounting processes and reporting operates efficiently and effectively.
* To ensure month end deliverables are achieved.
* Completing Balance Sheet reconciliations for the UK&I team and providing knowledge and support to the team.
* To ensure weekly accruals are processed accurately and on time.
* To ensure Sales Accounting Balance Sheet Accounts are completed effectively and no financial risks.
* To ensure D&F unreconciled items are kept to a minimum and cleared the following month.
* To identify significant risks and ensure mitigating actions are in place.
* To follow up on areas of non-compliance to process and ensure advice or training is provided where appropriate.
* To act as a point of escalation to all areas of the UK business for all Sales Accounting and reporting processes.
* Ensure that the internal and external auditors for Sales Accounting are completed successfully.

* Proven experience in a finance trading accounting or similar role.
* SAP Experience.
* Experience providing accruals & analysis.
* Creative flare to turn challenges into opportunities.
* Strong prioritisation and workload management.
