Vacancy Description: To assist our IT team, the duties you will work towards carrying out are: Handle and assist with some Helpdesk 1st line queries. Installation and configuration of laptops and desktops PCs. Assist with new starters and leavers checklist and processes. Supporting all team members with ad hoc tasks. Restore backups for applications and data. Installation of hardware and software Desirable Skills: IT competent and be familiar with Windows desktop environment Ability to be resilient and make common sense judgement within own workload. Able to work efficiently and accurate Learn how the helpdesk operates & who is responsible for jobs Personal Qualities: Good interpersonal skills, work well with colleagues, clients and the IT Team Good verbal, and face-to-face communication. Willing and eager to learn Take on positive criticism Entry Requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
