We are a successful and growing ecommerce agency with head offices in Totnes, Devon and other offices in Bristol, Hampshire and London. We design and build ecommerce websites for retail and trade, online shops, and provide digital marketing services including SEO, optimisation, PPC and paid media. We have our own e-commerce platform SelectCommerce.

This role reports to the Group Operations Director, and will have interfaces across the business.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-centric Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for sales, business growth, and relationship management. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. One of our organisational values is customer excellence and this role is critical in providing an exemplary customer experience from the very first interaction we have with a potential customer.
This role involves liaising directly with potential customers both reactive from inbound enquiries and also proactively with potential advocates and customers. You will be responsible for identifying potential new customers, building campaigns and accounting for this in a CRM (we use HubSpot).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand Webselect Limited’s client base.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
* Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer needs and build prospecting leads.
* Follow a process for all leads and account for this in a CRM.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business targets.
* Present and promote Webselect’s services to potential clients.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and performance metrics.
* Accurately record your time daily and ensure you are working to a target.
* Keep up to date with Nice Group’s policies and your responsibilities held within those.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Experience in sales, business development, or a related role desirable but not essential.
* Strong understanding of digital solutions, e-commerce, and marketing services.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Proficiency in CRM software and digital communications.
* Confident on the phone and in person.
* Ability to consistently follow a process and deviate when necessary.
WHAT WE OFFER
* Basic salary of £26,000 + uncapped commission (OTE of £40,000).
