Main duties of the job Exposure to a wide range of shoulder, elbow disorders will help gain subspecialty experience in elective sub-specialty surgery. Surgical sub-specialty practice within the unit includes primary and revision shoulder and elbow arthroplasty, arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder e.g: instability repair, cuff repair, subacromial decompression and distal clavicular excision, rheumatoid disease management and other allied surgical procedures. About us The James Cook University Hospital is a designated Major Trauma Centre for the North East of England. It is also a tertiary centre, providing comprehensive multidisciplinary care for a wide range of orthopaedic disorders and trauma, including complex post-traumatic reconstructive surgery.
