We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will report into the Programme Manager as part of the Programme Management Office with accountability for the successful delivery of programmes and projects working with broad cross-functional and multi-site teams. Within the framework of delegation by the Programme Manager or Site Leadership Team, responsible for working with key partners to resolve issues, ensure task completion by prioritising and reaching compromise with team members and functional managers to make critical decisions to ensure project success. What you'll be doing: Fully accountable for timely delivery of projects within agreed scope for key site and R & D programmes/projects Effective Partnering with Management Team to provide solutions to support project delivery. Provide leadership to project teams to build and deliver robust and detailed project plans. Identifying and monitoring project activities to achieve the required delivery and quality through: Effective review of project proposals and plans; conferring with management and development of project objectives Determining project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements and assigning personnel to phases and activities Ensuring clear alignment and delivery of project stream leads Responsible for clear and concise reporting and escalation to project sponsor of project progress, risks, countermeasures and issues Development and deployment of standard work for site project management using Danaher Business System principles to provide reliable and consistent delivery of required results. Development and mentor of staff and relevant partners to increase overall project management and delivery capabilities. Mentor, coach and ensure career development for future talent Ensuring Quality, Regulatory and Environmental, Health and Safety Policies are coordinated in to site project standard work. A successful candidate will possess: Proven and relevant experience of successful delivery of multi functional programmes including new product delivery and manufacturing operations. Experience of working within medical device (or equivalent) organisation with a regulatory framework preferred. Solid track record of ability to deliver projects on time, in full and within budget, with excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills and outstanding communication skills (verbal/written/presentation/relationship building) High levels of initiative, self-motivation and energy, with the ability to spot complexity and understand approaches to manage it, with high levels of integrity, confidence, independence and collaboration skills Educated to BSc level in a relevant subject area or equivalent, with experience of using Project management tools including MS project, excel, power point, SharePoint, team sites, SmartSheet, Jira or Trello Hands-on mentality with a strong ability to get into detail as necessary who is able to form effective and lasting networks with colleagues across functions Interested?
