Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader
Provision: Children's Home, 7 to 17, EBD 3 Bed
Location: Sunderland
Reporting to: Deputy / Registered Manager
Working hours: Shifts on a rolling rota, working 12 hours, doing a 2 on 4 off pattern, with 2 to 3 sleeps per week.
Salary: Base £27,144 OR £36,192 + Approx 6 to 8 Sleeps per Month paid at £52 per sleep. Total take-home up to £41,184pa
Desired Qualification: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR equivalent Or Enrolled on

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant/Deputy Manager, you will be the lead practitioner on shift. You will mentor, support and coach new team members and draw upon your extensive experience to manage any challenges that may arise. No two days are the same. You will work collaboratively with the education and therapy consultants, as well as colleagues from the wider sector, keeping the children at the heart of all you do. What we are looking for:
You have achieved Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Residential Childcare / Children and Young People’s Workforce. Ideally, you will have experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or have worked in a similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour.
