Position Overview:

Your Role:
As a Senior Policy Officer for the Flooding Partnerships & Engagement Unit within the Hydrology & Flooding Function, your role will include:
* Developing key policy areas of flood risk management by providing analysis, evaluation, and supporting information.
* Working with the Principal Policy Officer and National Partnerships & Engagement team (flooding) in policy development and implementation.
* Contributing to research projects to advance policy development.
* Liaising with other SEPA teams; and supporting communications and engagement with partners.
This role will contribute to the workload of this dynamic team, focusing on the development and implementation of policy with respect to flood risk management, delivering engagement (internal and external), supporting Scottish Government policy and strategy development for flood resilience, supporting Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets, and Flood Risk Management Plan production and integration.
