Reporting to the Sr. Network Manager, the Network Engineer will be responsible for monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network issues, and implementing network security measures to protect the organization's data and systems. In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop, manage and implement a network infrastructure that supports the Restaurant operations, including point-of-sale systems and other business-critical applications
2. Manage and maintain Network hardware, such as Routers, Access Points, Switches, and Firewalls
3. Troubleshoot, Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative Network solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security
4. While embedding with teams, strategize, consult, and prototype alongside other engineers to implement best practices and solutions for applications utilizing the latest Network Technologies
5. Drive proof of concepts and conduct technical feasibility studies for business requirements
6. Remain up-to-date on emerging technologies and architecture and propose ways to use them in current and upcoming projects
7. Strive to provide world-class service to both internal and external customers.
8. Effectively communicate project health, risks and issues to the program stakeholders, sponsors and management teams
9. Resolve most conflicts between timeline, budget, and scope independently but intuitively escalate complex or consequential issues to senior management
10. Identify and direct changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms. Work well in an agile environment
11. Provide urgent support and troubleshooting for our customers outside of regular business hours.
Extensive experience required in the following areas:
12. Routing and switching technologies
13. Meraki and Juniper L2&3 switch installation, administration, and management
14. Meraki and Juniper security appliances configuration, and management
15. Meraki and Juniper wireless solutions and access points
16. Using Meraki Dashboard and configure Meraki templates
17. Using Juniper Mist Dashboard and configure Juniper’s features
18. Network Security
19. Knowledge of networking protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VTP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and VPN design
20. Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
21. Experience with Palo Alto Prisma, cloud-based version
Ideal candidate:
You will be a subject matter expert in many facets of network hardware based on Aruba & Meraki platforms. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources. Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflict. Proven experience working in an Agile environment with a Scrum Master, Daily Scrum meetings, Backlogs, Sprints and written Stories and deliverables. Familiar with documentation process and tools, JIRA and Confluence preferred.
