In this role, you will:
1. Drive creation of or clarity surrounding all building and construction standards or specifications for Manufacturing, Warehouses, etc. and ensure adherence to critical engineering standards identifying needs for a standard review and maintenance as needs and industry requirement or trends change.
2. Drive adherence to process and construction strategies and standards globally to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Capital spending and drive creation of the process for managing and educating the organization on standards, changes, rationale, exception process, and more across both infrastructure and processes.
3. Identify strategic focus areas for new execution models to drive efficiencies and cost savings and be a critical partner in the planning and design of new facilities and site layouts to ensure they meet the needs of the business and comply with requirements and standards.
4. Drive cost efficiencies through contract improvements and standard approach to ongoing upgrades, facility maintenance, and more, and partner with REFM team to drive improvements in the management/maintenance of our facilities through monitoring industry standards, technology, and process improvements.
5. Ensure management of risk (in partnership with Global Risk Management) with all projects to meet risk and compliance requirements while being as cost-effective as possible and manage a diverse and geographically dispersed team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, best practice sharing/adoption, and innovation.
6. Build and sustain cross-functional and global relationships to accomplish objectives, including partnerships with Segment/Accountable Business Units (ABUs)/functional teams.

In one of our Enterprise Capital Engineering roles, you’ll focus on driving the overall Sustaining Capital Strategy for the Enterprise coordinating across Segments, Technologies, and Mills.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
7. Possess a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field and demonstrate expertise in leading and delivering large facility and infrastructure related capital decisions in partnership with both internal partners and external entities, including governmental agencies.
8. Have experience in Project Management and implementing sustainable and environmental-efficient solutions, as well as understanding of basic construction/building code requirements leveraged in manufacturing and production facilities.
9. Possess proficient knowledge of global manufacturing trends and best practices in capital project management, strong financial acumen, and excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
10. Can lead and influence in a matrixed organization and hierarchy, effective, consistent global communications and stakeholder management skills, and willingness to travel for on-site assessments and collaboration with segments and ABUs globally.
