This is an exciting opportunity at a time of continuing quality improvement to join the OPAT team on a permanent basis. Working alongside the OPAT team to support new initiatives within the service, the postholder requires vision, innovation and a real desire to provide the highest standards of patient care.
You should possess sound clinical knowledge, be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical skills including the ability to offer interventions, advice and delivery of safe, effective care to a diverse client population. You should possess good interpersonal skills and a commitment to team working. Training will be given to the successful candidate to equip them with the skills to carry out this role.
You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development, be highly organised and have good IT skills.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37-hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
