What you will do
1. Develop project scope of works for factory tool installations,
2. central facilities plant upgrades, and cleanroom construction projects.
3. Management of Sub- Contractors undertaking routine and emergency tasks.
4. Creation of Permit to work forms.
5. Validation of Risk and Method Statements.
6. Creation of Scope of works for quotation/ tender processes.
7. Budget and Expense management control and reporting.
8. Ability to efficiently prioritise work schedules, minimising
9. downtime and maximising resources.
10. Ability to confidently liaise with other support Departments
11. and functions.
12. Manage and control ‘Facilities Work Request’
13. (ad -Hoc facilities requests) process.
14. Manage cross-functional teams to ensure priority
15. conflicts are resolved effectively.
16. Working knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.
17. Manage health and safety requirements, clearly demonstrating a
18. ‘Safe System of Work’ in line with all Facilities Management activities.
What you will need
19. Time served apprenticeship with formal craft qualification.
20. HNC/ HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
21. Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point, project) experience essential.
22. CAD skills would be advantageous.
23. NEBOSH General Health and Safety Certificate.
24. ILM or CMI Level 3 in supervision/management or applicable experience.
25. Experience in a dynamic Manufacturing / Industrial environment preferred.
26. A results-oriented individual with high level of attention to detail and strong leadership skills.
27. Capable of establishing and maintaining good contractor/ supplier relationships.
28. Strong engineering background with methodical approach to problem solving.
29. Ability to act and react to ever changing business demands in a focussed and efficient manner without loss of focus.
30. Understanding of Cleanroom working principles.
31. Experience of central facilities plant and equipment.
32. Experience of plant & equipment commissioning and decommissioning.
