The Role:
As a Children Missing Education (CME) Administrator, you’ll provide effective support to the CME Officer and the wider Inclusion Support Service, contributing to a collaborative approach towards identifying and supporting CME. Every child deserves a quality, full-time education suitable for their age, abilities, and any special educational needs. Without intervention, CME are at risk of underachieving, facing harm, exploitation, or radicalisation, and potentially becoming NEET (not in education, employment, or training) later in life.
What you’ll be doing:
* Recording and investigating instances of Children Missing Education.
* Maintaining and updating the CME tracker.
* Providing advice and guidance to schools, parents and agencies.
* Maintaining awareness of the statutory framework regarding CME.
