G2 Legal, Electronics Patent Attorney (Litigation Focus)
Our client, a leading law firm with an exceptional reputation in the IP sector, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Patent Attorney to join its dynamic team. This role is focused on patent litigation within the semiconductor industry, and the ideal candidate will have 1-3 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct and manage patent litigation cases, particularly in the tech sector
2. Provide strategic advice and guidance on patent infringement, validity, and enforcement matters
3. Represent clients in litigation proceedings before the Unified Patent Court (UPC)
4. Collaborate with clients, technical experts, and internal teams to develop comprehensive litigation strategies
5. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
6. Conduct legal research and stay updated on the latest developments in patent law and the semiconductor industry
7. Attend and participate in court hearings, trials, and other related proceedings
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Qualified Patent Attorney with 1-3 years PQE
2. Registered to practice as a representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC)
3. Demonstrable experience in patent litigation, preferably within the tech sector and specifically semiconductors
4. Strong technical background in semiconductors or related fields
5. Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills
6. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
