Role: Human Resources Apprentice [Level 3 HR Support]
Salary: £20,500 per annum
Location: York
Contract Type: Permanent opportunity for new entrants to Network Rail only
Start date: September 2025
Office Requirement: Hybrid with an expectation of 3 days per week working from the York office
Entry Requirements: You will need to have 4 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above to apply, including English and Maths.
Selection Process: If selected, you will be requested to submit a video response to several motivational and role-specific questions. The final stage of the recruitment process will be an in-person Assessment Centre.
Assessment Centre: 25th April 2025, York

Exciting HR Apprentice Opportunity with the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU)
Are you someone who enjoys supporting others and tackling complex challenges? Do you have a passion for solving problems and finding solutions? If so, this could be the perfect role for you! We're offering a fantastic HR Apprenticeship within the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) Human Resources team. You will become a key part of our welcoming HR team, supporting the delivery of the TRU People Plan and HR Strategy while providing guidance and assistance to colleagues across the TRU Programme on people-related matters.
As an apprentice, you'll work under the guidance of the HR Business Partner, gaining invaluable experience and support as you build your HR career. The apprenticeship will help you develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to become a professional HR practitioner.
