Key responsibilities include:
1. Raising the profile of quality in all company processes
2. Governing and enforcing quality and food safety standards
3. Driving continuous improvement
4. Internal auditing of processes & procedures
5. Conducting root cause analysis and taking corrective & preventative actions through to completion
6. Liaising with customers within the pet food industry to meet their needs and expectations
7. Signing off equipment post-Engineering & cleaning
8. Conducting plant performance trials
9. Training personnel in HACCP and food safety
