Project Manager 6 months but likely to run for 2 years £550 a day inside IR35 Hampshire - Hybrid - (1-2 days a week onsite) We're looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join an organisation going through a large and complex Cyber Security modernisation programme across multiple locations which is expected to take 2 years. The Programme of work will see this organisation improve their cyber security provision across the business and this programme will focus on 4 separate Asset Management and Vulnerability Management projects across the business. We're looking for a Project Manager who has experience of working on the early scoping and discovery phase of a large complex project. You'll have expertise of working on large and complex projects being able to decipher what Cyber Security Provisions are currently in place, what is being duplicated across the business, shaping and carving out deliverables and how they should be tackled for each of those areas and give those instructions/deliverables to 3rd parties to then manage. Responsibilities: Define project deliverables that support business goals with senior management and stakeholders, ensuring risks identified and mitigated, resources identified, and preparatory work completed Ensuring robust and well-defined plans are developed, identifying critical milestones on the way Effective, timely and clear communication and reporting of project expectations and variances to team members and stakeholders Identify key stakeholders at the start of the project life cycle and create a stakeholder management plan which identifies how and when to engage the relevant parties. Maintaining a Risks and Issues' log ensuring that appropriate items are captured and identify mitigating actions, ensuring their resolution in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders Management and control of the project finances by measuring and tracking against the allocated project budget, reconciling the spend versus budget on a monthly basis and as required, showing actual spend, committed spend and estimate to completion Work closely with the appropriate members of the project Management Office to ensure the project is effectively tracked and monitored with relevant reporting tools. Essential Skills and Experience: Strong track record of successfully delivering large IT & Business Change projects (any Cyber Security Project experience is an advantage) Experience of working effectively with a wide variety of people at all levels within an organisation. Experience of controlling Project finances to tight budgets. A formal qualification in Project Management eg PRINCE2, APMP or PMP We're ideally looking for someone who can start the beginning of Jan 2025.
