Barwells Wealth has an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Apprentice Financial Services Assistant. This role has development opportunities leading to Financial Advisor role.
The primary function of the role is to provide direct support to the Financial Planners to enable them to operate at optimum efficiency. This will include, but will not be limited to, the main responsibilities given below. The Apprentice Financial Services Assistant is expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
1. To prepare correspondence and documents including audio typing and word processing in accordance with Client Management Systems as appropriate.
2. To administer filing which will include daily filing, opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files in accordance with the Firm's procedures.
3. Obtaining valuations from product providers either by telephone or via the Internet.
4. Preparing valuations of pensions and investments on Back Office System.
5. To prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch.
6. To arrange for all copying to be done, in person.
7. To manage appointments, arrange meetings, and maintain an up-to-date diary for the Financial Planners.
8. To prepare meeting rooms as necessary and ensure they are tidy following meetings.
9. Provide support to fellow assistants, as required.
10. To attend clients via telephone and in person, providing support in a professional, friendly manner in meeting the Firm’s standards of care.
11. To undertake any specific training as required and to assume responsibility for personal development.
12. To ensure the confidentiality of the Firm’s and Client’s data.
13. To provide refreshments as required.
14. Other duties commensurate with the post as designated from time to time by the Directors.

18. Minimum of Grade 4 qualification in English and Mathematics.
19. A Levels is essential.
Salary: Apprenticeship Wage
