Are you a passionate Health & Social Care / PSHE Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Basingstoke? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated individual to join a thriving secondary school from March 2025.

About the Role:
As a Health & Social Care / PSHE Teacher, you will teach across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that help students develop essential life skills, emotional well-being, and an understanding of the health and social care sector. This role is open to experienced teachers, ECTs qualifying this year, and unqualified teachers with relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
* Engaging Lessons – Plan and deliver interactive and thought-provoking lessons in Health & Social Care and PSHE.
* Curriculum Development – Contribute to the creation of an inclusive and ambitious curriculum.
* Student Progress – Monitor and support students' academic, emotional, and personal development.
* Extracurricular Activities – Support the school’s well-being and personal development programs.
* Raising Attainment – Help improve student outcomes in Health & Social Care and PSHE.
* Professional Growth – Engage in ongoing training and CPD opportunities.
* Pastoral Care – Work closely with students to develop their understanding of personal, social, and health-related issues.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
ECTs qualifying this year and unqualified teachers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Health & Social Care and PSHE.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
