We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team and contribute to our nurturing community. Role and Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with social, emotional, and mental health and complex learning difficulty needs Assist teachers in creating and delivering personalised learning plans. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Support students in developing their social skills and emotional resilience. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student. Monitor and document student progress and well-being. Requirements: Experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs. Understanding of strategies to support students with diverse emotional and mental health challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development. Relevant qualifications or training in education, psychology, or child development (preferred but not essential). Dbs on the update service or willinng to acquire one.
