Job Overview
We are seeking a full time Teacher of RE & PSHE who can build on the high quality teaching and learning within the subject as part of our successful and enthusiastic team. We welcome applications from ECTs and RTQs and individuals wishing to explore job shares and flexible working options.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and self-motivated teacher, with a focus on enabling young people to make a positive difference and achieve the Academy’s vision: to set no limits on what we can achieve.
If you:
1. Care about young people and want to make a difference
2. Are a suitably qualified teacher with the subject knowledge and expertise to deliver RE and PSHE
3. The ability to teach another Humanities subject to KS3 or 4 would be an advantage. There is the possibility of teaching A-level Sociology, Criminology or RE for a suitably qualified candidate
4. Have a good understanding of teaching and learning strategies which lead to exceptional progress
5. Are an inspiring, creative practitioner who wants to contribute to a successful team
6. Are committed to ensuring students maximise every opportunity to achieve academically and personally
