As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Your role will be crucial in helping people maintain their independence while receiving the care they need. Key Responsibilities:
• Personal Care: Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Medication Support: Assisting clients with medication as per their care plans.
• Meal Preparation: Preparing and serving meals according to clients' dietary requirements.
• Household Tasks: Helping with light household chores, such as cleaning and laundry.
• Companionship: Providing emotional support and engaging in meaningful conversations.
• Mobility Assistance: Helping clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to chair and assisting with walking.
• Care Planning: Following and updating care plans to ensure the needs of each individual are met.
• Reporting: Monitoring and reporting any changes in health or care needs to the appropriate team members or family.
Requirements:
• A caring, compassionate nature and a commitment to delivering quality care.
• Having a UK driving license and having access to a car with business insurance will be an advantage (Not compulsory)
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a care role (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided).
