SENIOR PILATES TRAINER Your purpose We’re here to help our clients see results that are measurable, sustainable, long term, safe, goal-oriented and results-driven. As a Ten Trainer you help our clients reach their goals by delivering highly expert Dynamic Reformer Pilates classes, and Personal Training 1:1s (either gym-based or reformer-based). Start date: 13th January 2025 Salary: £30,000/year performance-based commission Location: Ten Health & Fitness, Chiswick Studio. 100% studio-based Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, mix of early and late shifts Primary duties and responsibilities Training Teaching up to 25 DRP classes per week Conducting PT sessions against agreed targets Contribute to case load by building relationships with clients, networking etc Leadership Mentor and develop your studio’s trainer team, coaching and mentoring them to success: Assisting new trainers in settling into your studio(s), including onboarding and shadow-teaching Supporting trainers in their development needs Escalating any concerns around performance and behaviour to the Studio Manager Work side by side with your Studio Manager to support brand standards and operational excellence Set an example for an integrated, One Team approach across our cross-functional teams Studio Support Circle of Care; to work effectively within our multidisciplinary team of instructors, personal trainers, physios and sports massage therapists to form a referral-based community within your studio. To drive and deliver the operational excellence of the studio(s)- upholding standards and exceeding client expectations, with particular emphasis on the quality of classes and gym-based PT. Be the ‘face’ of your studio to clients- interacting with them and responding to their requests To build upon business opportunities and corporate relationships alongside the Studio Managers Raise the profile of Ten amongst local business and neighbouring organisations Complete maintenance and cleaning of equipment, e.g. Reformer maintenance tasks, gym equipment, etc. Champion our services, ensuring ‘excellence’ in delivery Collaborate with FoH teams and Marketing where required Adhoc tasks as per the needs of the business Person specification Experience : Reformer Pilates teaching certificate and PT qualification, or equivalent experience 0.5 – 1.5 years regular class teaching experience (500-1500 classes) Advanced PT experience, including a PT specialism such as Strength & Conditioning, Pelvic Health, Cardiovascular Health, etc (part or fully qualified) Demonstrated mentorship or people management of junior team members Demonstrated experience working successfully within a team Skills : Experience in various Pilates disciplines (conventional and small equipment experience) is a plus Excellent attention to detail Computer literate, good writing skills Resilient, able to consistently deliver energetic classes and 1:1’s throughout role How is the role measured?
