Job summary
Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking qualified Critical Care Nurses (ITU/ICU) with at least 12 months of experience tojoin our team for flexible shifts. Ideal candidates should be able to commute easily and provide high-quality care.
Location : London and the South East
Pay rate : £ - £ per hour (depending on shift)Shifts
Available : Days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
Main duties of the job
1. Provide care for patients with complex conditions, including spinal cord injuries and tracheostomies.
2. Perform regular patient observations and monitor vital signs.
3. Administer medications and ensure proper dosage and timing.
4. Ensure the care plan is up to date and tailored to the patient's needs.
5. Independently manage the patients care in a home setting.
6. Liaise with the clinical team from Paragon Home Healthcare, other care team members, the GP, healthcare professionals, and the patients family as needed.

Job responsibilities
12. Patient Care:
Provide expert nursing care for patients with complex conditions, including spinal cord injuries and tracheostomies.Perform routine patient observations, including monitoring vital signs and assessing overall health.
13. Medication Management:
Administer prescribed medications, ensuring proper dosage and timing.Monitor and manage medical equipment such as ventilators, feeding tubes, and other devices.
14. Care Plan Management:
Ensure the patients care plan is up to date and adjusted according to their evolving needs.Work closely with the care team to implement any changes to the plan based on patient progress.
15. Collaboration & Communication:
Liaise with Paragon Home Healthcares clinical team, the patients GP, other healthcare professionals, and the patients family as needed.Provide clear and timely communication regarding the patients condition and any changes to their care.
16. Independence & Initiative:
Independently manage the day-to-day care of the patient in a home setting, making critical decisions as necessary.Handle emergency situations effectively and in line with best clinical practices.
