We are seeking an experienced Part Time Payroll Manager to oversee the end-to-end payroll operations for our large temporary workforce and contingent workers. This is a critical role responsible for managing the weekly payroll across our growing multi-site locations, as well as monthly payroll for our head office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the full payroll process including time tracking, deductions, tax calculations, and payments for both weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees and contingent workers.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers.
* Implement and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
* Analyse payroll data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for process improvements.
* Collaborate closely with the Finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and address any discrepancies.
* Maintain detailed payroll records and generate required reports for management and regulatory purposes.
* Lead the ongoing enhancement of payroll systems and technologies to drive efficiency and automation.
* Provide training and support to managers and employees on payroll-related matters.
