We are seeking an experienced General Manager (Operations) to lead the small operations team at our world-class luxury boutique retreat.

This is a hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, aligning operations with long-term goals. Lead and mentor the Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Cuisine teams. Take a turn at being hands-on when needed.
2. Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Collaborate with the CFO to set budgets, manage costs, and drive profitability.
3. Employee Engagement: Lead recruitment, training, and retention initiatives, fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
4. Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards, manage risks, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
5. Customer Experience: Maintain high standards of service and improve guest satisfaction through continuous operational improvements.
6. Sustainability & Innovation: Champion sustainable practices, maintain Gold Qualmark accreditation, and implement technology upgrades to enhance efficiency.
7. Strategic Planning & Change Management: Contribute to long-term strategic planning and lead organizational changes effectively.

1. Proven operations leadership experience in luxury hospitality or tourism.
2. Expertise in budgeting, risk management, and operational performance.
3. A passion for sustainability and innovation in the luxury travel industry.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team.
