Job Title: Behaviour Support Officer Location: North West England, Lancashire, Leyland Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £83.85 - £110 Per day Job Description: Job Duties: Provide support to students exhibiting challenging behaviour within an educational setting Implement behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individual behaviour plans Monitor and record student behaviour, progress, and interventions Communicate effectively with parents and external agencies as needed Required Qualifications: Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges Understanding of behaviour management techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: GCSEs or equivalent Experience: Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of behaviour management strategies Strong communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team Effective record-keeping and reporting abilities Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in behaviour management or related field Experience in an educational setting Working Conditions: Temporary position with full-time hours Work within an educational environment Potential for interaction with students exhibiting challenging behaviour What next?
