Teacher in the Nursery
We are seeking an exceptional teacher to join our Nursery team and contribute to the continued success of our school. As a member of our dedicated and collaborative staff, you will have the opportunity to shape the learning experiences of our youngest pupils and help them embark on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that foster a love of learning
2. Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform your teaching strategies
3. Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
4. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity across the Trust
5. Actively participate in the wider life of the school, contributing to its vibrant community
6. The care and education of the children, exemplifying good practice and being a good role model
7. The safety and welfare of the children in the rooms at all times
8. To provide a dynamic, active learning environment for the children on a day-to-day basis
9. Through reflective observations, support, monitor and recommend improvements for quality in all working areas
10. You will be expected to be aware of and comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Experienced ECTs may apply)
2. Experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for early childhood education
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Qualities:
1. Creativity and a willingness to try new teaching methods
2. Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
3. Experience with implementing play-based learning approaches
4. Understanding of the unique needs and developmental stages of young children
Salary: MPS (Applications from experienced ECTs are encouraged)
