Permanent Occupational Health Case Management Advisor
Location: Gloucestershire 5264235 & 5264234
Pay Rate: Up to £39,513 per annum depending on experience
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working, 37 hours a week; part-time will be considered

Key Requirements:
* OH Nurse qualification on NMC register (Registered General Nurse, Registered Mental Health Nurse, or relevant Allied Health Professional qualification).
* Membership of OH educational/professional bodies.
* Membership of other professional bodies such as the Vocational Rehabilitation Assessment or Case Management Society UK.
* Disability Assessor training relevant to experience.
* Training in functional rehabilitation.
* Report writing training or OH Report Writing Certificate.
* Broad clinical knowledge used to facilitate client health & wellbeing.
* UK driving licence and access to own car.
The successful candidate will work within the OH clinical process model to address the health & wellbeing needs of the client and provide advice to referring managers that is clear, consistent, and in line with clinical best practice. They will make every contact count to address the health & wellbeing needs of the client, delivering consistent and concise healthy lifestyle information to enable clients and their managers to engage in health & wellbeing conversations. Your clinics will include management referrals from GCC and a number of internal and external organisations, and you will use your clinical knowledge base as a rationale for the content of your reports to referring managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish a balance between client and manager expectations, being clear about the scope of your advisory role and recommendations.
* Maintain clinical information security at all times, establishing a mutual understanding of the reason for referral with the client, explaining the respect for clinical confidentiality, and evidencing consent in clinical notes.
* Evaluate and identify factual information gained during client consultation and take comprehensive and accurate clinical notes, using them as a rationale to inform clinical recommendations.
* Maintain best practice knowledge, using recognised sources of clinical information, referencing OH best practice and internal Standard Operating Procedures.
* Frame advice and recommendations within relevant H&S and employment law legislation and guidance.
