NFU Energy is one of the UK's leading energy consultancies, specialising in the farming sector. Our Energy Systems & Projects team work primarily with farms that generate electricity or have renewable heat systems, from simple biomass boilers to big, combined heat & power installations and solar parks. We provide a holistic service including feasibility, energy trading, incentives, compliance and more.
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced relationship manager to join our busy team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of our clients with complex energy requirements, building and maintaining great relationships with them and drawing on resources from across our business to ensure that we deliver the best possible service.
Candidates should have experience of working in the energy sector, ideally in the fields of compliance, embedded generation or renewables, or be able to demonstrate technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex requirements quickly. You must have a strong history of working directly with customers and colleagues to deliver projects and ongoing services.
Your role and responsibilities will include:
* Client relationship management: building long-term relationships with key clients.
* Work with colleagues, delivery partners and stakeholders to allocate and manage the resources needed to effectively deliver allocated contracts and services.
* Ensure that the desired company and client outcomes are achieved. This to include, but not be restricted to, timing, quality, commercial performance (income and expenditure) and client satisfaction.
* Project management and communication: creating project plans and managing progress.
To succeed in this role you will have:
* At least 3 years’ experience of managing projects and/or relationships with a portfolio of clients.
* Significant specialist knowledge and expertise in the delivery of consultancy or technical delivery and resource management projects and services to a diverse client base.
* Experience of working within an organisation at an experienced level in an operational or service delivery role.
* High level of organisational skills and a proven track record of implementing them on complex delivery projects with strict deadlines and numerous stakeholders.

In return you will receive a salary of circa £30,000 pa depending on experience, 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), plus company benefits including pension, group life assurance (3 times salary), NFU membership and more. You will be based at our office in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
