The opportunity Given successful project expansion our client is currently seeking an experienced CE&I Designer to drive the development of all engineering design processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Employment Type: Contract This role has been deemed inside IR35 Duration: 12 months+
The role You will be expected to produce with input and guidance from the engineering design team, engineering design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering) that satisfy the legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality.
You will have the following qualifications and Experience Significant experience in the use of AutoCAD. Must have significant demonstratable experience in CE&I Project Delivery. Experience of the design delivery of building electrical services, processes instrumentation, and mechanical handling equipment. Competent in the application of CDM Regulations and of IET wiring Regulations. Experience of space management, cable routing and cable management. Have the ability to work as part of an integrated delivery team, and individually, working within sometimes restrictive time constraints. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with people at all levels. Minimum ONC in appropriate discipline. It’s great if you also have the following Experience with Radiometric systems. Experience delivering against BS 61508.The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
