Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant Special school January start Full-time or part-time 8:30am - 3:15pm We work closely with a lovely special school based in North Bristol/South Gloucestershire and they are looking for a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join the team from January. The school look after students aged 6-16 with a wide range of special needs & disabilities. The school are well established having operated in the area for a number of years now. They put the needs of each individual student at the heart of everything they do, consistently going the extra mile wherever they can. The role The role of TA is revolved around supporting the class teacher with whatever they need. Successful TA's are proactive, adaptable, patient, positive, hard-working and naturally nurturing. Due to the needs of the students it is important that you have have worked with special needs & disabilities in some capacity. This role can be full-time or long-term or something more part-time - the school can be flexible depending on the candidate.
