Flowbird is recruiting for Service Desk Technicians to be the first point of contact for our customers. You will monitor the Service Desk queue for new incidents and requests, taking ownership of relevant reported incidents as well as handling phone calls and carrying out triage. You will see incidents through to resolution, building solid relationships with key internal and external customers. Location: Poole, Dorset Hours: 10 hour shifts, days: 3 on, 2 off Salary: £29,500 What you'll do: Monitor and manage incidents across multiple channels, ensuring SLA compliance. Communicate updates and gather information via phone, email, or portal. Log and follow up on support calls with third parties. Perform remote diagnostics and issue resolution. Generate and collate reports; manage user accounts and access. Support implementation and admin tasks for various projects. Maintain accurate records in ITSM tools. Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues. Create and maintain internal documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve issues or escalate as needed. Perform daily system checks and administrative duties. Support internal systems, including mobile payment platforms. Ideally you will have: Strong written and verbal communication skills Active listener, able to explain technical issues clearly Analytical and process-driven problem solver Technically minded with a desire to grow Proficient with Microsoft and Google applications Fast learner of both standard and bespoke software Customer focused with the ability to react quickly to demands An understanding of ITIL and its objectives would be an advantage We offer you: Comprehensive induction and training. 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) with an option to purchase additional days.
