SuccessFactors Integration Consultant – Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled SuccessFactors Integration Consultant to design, develop, and implement integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and other enterprise applications. This role requires deep technical expertise in middleware solutions, APIs, and data synchronization, ensuring seamless data flow across HR, finance, and other business systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and secure integrations that enhance business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Integration Design & Development: Architect and implement integrations between SuccessFactors and SAP/non-SAP applications using middleware tools like SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or SAP Integration Suite.
* API & Web Services Management: Develop and maintain OData, REST, and SOAP-based APIs for real-time and batch data exchanges.
* Data Migration & Transformation: Lead data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from legacy HR systems to SuccessFactors.
* Security & Compliance: Ensure data security, encryption, GDPR compliance, and role-based access controls within integrations.
* Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform unit, system, and performance testing to validate integration functionality and resolve issues proactively.
* Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain integration documentation, data flow diagrams, and best practice guidelines for ongoing system improvements.
* Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with HR, IT, payroll, finance, and third-party vendors to align integration strategies with business requirements.
* System Upgrades & Enhancements: Stay updated with SuccessFactors release updates, recommend improvements, and ensure compatibility with the latest features.
Required Skills & Experience
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Experience: 5+ years of experience in HR technology, with 3+ years in SAP SuccessFactors integrations.
* Technical Expertise:
* Strong hands-on experience with SAP CPI, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or other middleware tools.
* Proficiency in OData, REST, SOAP APIs, and SuccessFactors Integration Center.
* Knowledge of SFTP, IDoc, BAPI, and RFC-based integrations.
* Experience with data mapping, JSON, XML, and XSLT transformation.
* Familiarity with People Analytics, Workforce Analytics, or SAP BTP is a plus.
* Soft Skills:

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* SAP SuccessFactors Integration certification is a plus.
* Experience integrating SuccessFactors with Workday, Oracle, ADP, or other HR/payroll systems.
* Understanding of SAP HCM, S/4HANA, and hybrid HR landscapes.
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Location & Work Arrangement
* Remote, hybrid, or on-site (depending on company requirements).
* Travel may be required based on project needs.
