The Opportunity
An opportunity has become available for an experienced logistics admin to join our client on an initial temporary basis. The role will be to support the logistics side of the business in achieving an excellent level of manufacturing efficiency. In this role, you will be a key cog by ensuring there is an uninterrupted manufacturing process, allowing the business to meet customer expectations.
Your Duties and Responsibilities
1. Goods issue and good receipting of process orders for material manufactured on our manufacturing plants.
2. Support site DGSA with arranging ISO washes, ISO adhoc maintenance, ISO inspections as required for the fulfilment of our legal requirements.
3. Support with stock discrepancy investigation to understand reason for discrepancy and put corrective actions in place.
4. Work the integrated planning manufacturing process across all our plants and get involved in the planning and scheduling of production.
5. Work closely with supply chain to ensure timely supply of raw materials into site reducing the number of delays.
6. Support the month end process by raising month end purchase orders for our embedded contractors and maintain cost reports to monitor costs.
7. Manage Time and Attendance for industrial day staff.
You Will Have the Following Qualifications & Experience
1. Experience of ERP systems - AX/SAP etc.
2. Experience with inventory control/counting procedures.
3. Team player - able to work well within a team but also work alone where required.
4. Ability to manage own workload and able to prioritise tasks.
5. Good communicator - ability to communicate well with shop floor and all our support functions (able to build good rapport with our internal customers).
6. Confidence in communicating with various levels of management.
7. Works well under pressure.
It's Great If You Also Have the Following
1. Dangerous Goods experience - ideal not mandatory.
2. Top Tier COMAH manufacturing experience.
The Setting for the Role
Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a chemical site. These can include chemical burns, trips and falls, overexertion, cuts and scrapes, chemical exposure, inhalation of chemicals, and confined spaces. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
