Senior Lawyer - Childcare

Sellick Partnership is thrilled to be assisting a Local Authority in Essex, who are seeking a Childcare Lawyer to join their team on a part-time (two days per week), permanent basis.

Responsibilities of the Childcare Lawyer:
1. Managing and advising on all aspects of care proceedings and adoption proceedings and dealing with international issues as necessary
2. Managing DOL and Secure Accommodation proceedings
3. Drafting applications, case management documents, threshold statements, orders and case summaries as necessary
4. Dealing with S7 and S37 matters
Experience required for the Childcare Lawyer:
1. Qualified Solicitor/Barrister/Legal Executive
2. In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
3. Prior experience in commercial contracts or property
