Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Technician

Your future employer is a key player in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a skilled EC&I Technician like you, to join their expert team. This is a field-based role where you’ll focus on supporting the performance and reliability of green energy projects through expert maintenance and fault resolution.
Your Role:
As an EC&I Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining control systems and electrical components. Your expertise will ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical engines and plant equipment.
What You’ll Do:

Maintain and repair components such as thermocouples, relays, motors, and engine control systems.

Provide electrical maintenance of reciprocating engines and associated equipment.
*
Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure smooth operations.
*
Manage and track jobs using the CMMS system.
*
You’ll look after 17 sites across West Yorkshire and the North West to provide electrical control and instrumentation support.
Your Qualifications & Experience:
*
18th Edition, BS 7671 certification.
*
HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
*
Experience in electrical maintenance of engines and auxiliary equipment.
*
HV Authorised Person (AP) status preferred – HV experience is advantageous, but training will be provided.
