Job Description Deputy Nursery Room Leader (Toddler Room) Full-Time Hours | All year round Salary: £27,000 We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Deputy Nursery Room Leader to join our client’s team in the Toddler Room. This role is ideal for an experienced early years professional looking to step into a leadership position, supporting the Room Leader in delivering high-quality care and education to toddlers in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Our client’s nursery provides a warm and welcoming ‘home from home’ setting, where toddlers are encouraged to develop their independence, confidence, and curiosity through play-based learning. If you have a strong understanding of toddler development and the ability to lead and inspire a team, we would love to hear from you What We’re Looking For Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent). A strong understanding of child development, particularly in children aged 2-3 years. Experience in leading or supporting a team within an early years setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that encourages toddlers' development through play and exploration. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support toddlers' social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Observe, assess, and track children’s progress, using insights to tailor individual learning experiences. Provide leadership and guidance to nursery practitioners, ensuring best practices are followed. Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and development.
