Main purpose of the role
* To lead and direct staff of 20 - 30 across our geographical area (Barnet, Harrow, Haringey and Enfield) and be responsible & accountable for the quality, compliance and performance of service provision.
* In this area there are 8 different provisions/placements of range of complexity of service users (Forensic/PBS/Autism).
* Overseeing a significant area of the business (50%).
* To provide strategic support to the Operations Manager in relation to business growth, transformational change and financial performance.
* To act as an ambassador for Nwando Care through developing partnerships and promoting the work.
* To lead and direct a team in developing and delivering person centred services for staff and service users.
* To promote service user and carer engagement and involvement in the community including referrals and active support to help them to be more independent.
* Support all our provisions to be CQC & Local Authority compliant.

The Job
* To ensure that staff are committed to the vision and mission of Nwando Care.
* To provide support to the Head of Operations in relation to business growth and retention.
* Support and develop Lead Support Workers, as well as ensure all placement vacancies or potential vacancies are reported to Management.
* To work with Head of Operations to deliver outcomes against the Strategic Business Plan - residential objectives, resources and ensuring each provision has the capacity to operate as a sole business.
* Ensuring provision of excellent services that meet required standards and regulations in health and social care.
* To ensure all service delivery is provided within the financial resources.
* To lead on service transformation - currently service lacks oversight and management from the head office regularly has to intervene.
* To provide information and translate national & local social policy relevant to the work.
* To establish and maintain internal and external positive and productive partnerships for a strong customer focus.
* To attend stakeholder and local authority / MDT meetings relating to each service user.
* To oversee the appropriate deployment of resources.
* To ensure strong and effective governance for continuous service improvement.
* To embed a quality assurance culture, analysing available information to ensure compliance and drive improvement.
