Job Title: Service Technician
The Service Technician, under the direction of the Service Manager, will primarily be responsible for conducting diagnostic procedures to determine vehicle maintenance requirements and providing accurate repairs for our customers' vehicles.
Job Qualifications:
* 310 S Licensed Service Technician
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Ability to lift heavy items and to stand for long periods of time
Job Requirements:
* Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
* Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs
* Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
* Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
* Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order including diagnostic trouble codes and cause and correction
* Road tests vehicles when required and references job aid forms to qualify complaints
* Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events
* Reviews manufacturer’s recall bulletins and ensures that all steps are followed as per the guidelines set forth by the manufacturer
* Ensures that you are achieving all Xtime KPI’s as directed by the management team
