Job Title: Senior Software Assurance Engineer

Salary: £47,683 + depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
1. Assessment and approval of Radar software products and process compliance against agreed Software Development Plans and Software Validation & Verification Plans
2. Undertake configuration and review of supplier Data Requirement Lists (DRL) items
3. Build relationships and networks across the supplier, Eurofighter Partner Company and Customer communities
4. Support the team to resolve supplier deviations to Eurofighter System & Software Development Standards
5. Conduct the review of software documentation in support of regular Radar product iterations, releases and clearances
6. Attend and support supplier software lifecycle reviews
7. Attend and support software audits at supplier premises
8. Engage with a culture of continuous improvement within the Radar Software Assurance team
Your skills and experiences:
9. A HND (or equivalent) in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience (preferably with Software or Systems Engineering focus).
10. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
11. A proactive approach to problem solving
12. Effective communication skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
13. Experience of working with Radar systems - Desirable

The Equipment Design Responsibility team:
This is an exciting role for a Senior Software Assurance Engineer working within the Eurofighter Typhoon Radar Equipment Design Responsibility (EDR) team, in support of the software development effort on various Radar programmes. The role sits within the EDR team based in Warton, working closely with the Radar Equipment Supplier (EuroRadar, Leonardo-UK, Hensoldt, Leonardo-IT and Indra), Eurofighter GmbH and other System Design Responsibility (SDR) engineering disciplines
