Questech Recruitment are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer either apprentice trained or the equivalent to NVQ Level 3 trained to join the team at one of our clients based in Hull.

The Pay: From £45,000 to £52,000 Dependent On Experience.
The Shifts: Nights Shifts 4 on 4 off working 1800-0600.
The Role:
1. To comply with relevant Engineering specifications, and Environmental, Health & Safety policies and current legislation.
2. To assist with the implementation plan to deliver the strategy with clear accountabilities, milestones and targets, using best practice tools and techniques.
3. Complete/task engineering workload in conjunction with the Engineering Manager and Operations colleagues.
4. Facilitation of any staff members involved with operation of the plant has received the appropriate information and instruction as per the manufacturer’s guidance and advice.
5. To adhere to Clean as you go mentality. Reduce waste / shrinkage and additional costs where appropriate by protecting both company product stock and equipment in the most efficient and appropriate manner at all times.
6. To drive improvements, by working with all departments, to reduce complaints and other non-conformances.
7. Ensure the company assets are maintained to achieve maximum efficiency.
8. Undertake planned maintenance tasks as instructed to the relevant engineering and safety standards.
9. Undertake remedial engineering works to equipment or site as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
10. To ensure any risks of safety or failure of equipment or site are communicated to the Manager.
11. To ensure plant and equipment downtime is kept to a minimum.
12. To carry out and log planned maintenance schedule as per plan.
13. To respond to breakdowns in a time efficient manner.
14. Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post. Any other reasonable requests made by the Senior Management.
15. Ensure that you understand and adhere to your personal responsibilities with regard the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 or Health and Safety at Work (Northern Ireland) Order SI 1978/1039.
