About Our Client

Job Description
* Conduct day-to-day responsive repair surveys to identify and diagnose maintenance issues in our housing stock.
* Perform HHSRS assessments to ensure all properties comply with health and safety regulations.
* Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on survey findings.
* Liaise with contractors, residents, and other stakeholders to coordinate repair works and ensure timely resolution of issues.
* Monitor and manage the quality of repair works carried out by external contractors.
* Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of surveys, assessments, and repairs.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and policies.
The Successful Applicant
* Degree/HNC or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying or a related field.
* Relevant experience in conducting building surveys and HHSRS assessments, preferably within the social housing sector.
* Strong knowledge of building construction, repair techniques, and health and safety regulations.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in using surveying software and other relevant IT tools.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritising work effectively.
