We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to join our technical team in the Yorkshire West region, based in Leeds.
Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the technical function, ensuring alignment with the company's 5-year plan and business targets.
The main purpose of this role is to coordinate all design information between external consultants and internal departments, ensuring timely approvals and the issuance of high-quality, accurate information.
The role covers responsibilities from site feasibility through development to completion and handover, including supporting procurement, tendering, and live site activities. The candidate will also produce timely reports and verify the accuracy and commercial viability of technical information.
Additional duties include collating design data for procurement and construction, and attending development team meetings.

Ensure personal and team health and safety compliance, adhering to Keepmoat’s Health, Safety, and Sustainability standards.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
We seek an experienced Senior Technician with a professional attitude, organized, and capable of working under pressure. The candidate should approach problem-solving creatively, possess excellent communication and influencing skills, and have at least 2 years’ experience in a technical new build environment. Collaboration skills and experience supporting operational teams and building client relationships are essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant technical software is required.
An Engineering qualification, degree, or equivalent accredited by the Institution for Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is preferred.
