Shift Manager is responsible and accountable to deliver safely and with quality all operational metrics across site whilst ensuring compliance to the company standards. The shift manager leads the team and has strong communication and connections with all the shift team and the key day work leaders through the shift. This role reports to the Operations Manager at Northfleet Mill. In this role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Ensure that the shift operational team is managed safely coaching teams to achieve site Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost KIP’s through clear processes and standard work including problem solving Working with and engaged in all of KC’s Safety, Quality & Delivery systems and processes Ensure adherence to agreed asset performance targets and production plans and react to off target issues with Asset or behavioural within your team Utilise Lean thinking and Leader standard work to ensure continuous improvement through application of lean tools and techniques Connect with people and identify and address People opportunities through implementing improvement plans Improve and comply to Asset reliability tools in accordance with production requirements Use Shift technical resources for reactive and proactive work such as Reliability work list priorities and job if down do work Report and complete reports for unsafe conditions and behaviours using site systems including accident investigations and fires Complete end of shift handovers and ensure the shift team complies with Tier 1 & tier 2 processes across the site Responsible for ensuring that machine operates to agreed centerlines and general compliance to Standard work About Us Huggies®. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: Significant experience in a People Lead position or a similar role which shows leadership experience.
