Project Manager – Flood Alleviation - £80k - £90k + package

Unite People are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead flood alleviation projects, ensuring communities are safeguarded against the impacts of flooding. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all stages of flood alleviation projects, from feasibility to completion.
* Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and environmental specialists.
* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and technical specifications.
* Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely delivery.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, regulatory bodies, and community representatives.
* Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates.
* Oversee procurement processes and manage contractor performance.
* Ensure project outcomes meet sustainability and quality standards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental science, project management, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in managing flood alleviation or water infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of flood risk management techniques and environmental legislation.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
