Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare and pack beef and lamb products to standard defined for relevant stage in production process.
* Packing meat to customer specifications using various packaging and machinery.
Working in a chilled environment.
* Always Following Health and Safety and hygiene procedures
Ensure strict adherence to quality, HSE, animal welfare, food safety, hygiene, ethical, product labelling and handling processes
Carry out all tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, specifically regarding health and safety and food safety.
Knowledge and Experience - ideal but not required
Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but full training will be given
Candidates with experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and able to work as part of a team.
Skills
Essential: Positive and can-do attitude, good time keeping, Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, ability to use own initiative, excellent communication skills, be keen and willing to learn
