Working hours: 14 - 15 Hours
Contract Type: Part Time/Fixed Term until 01-12-2025
Location: Blackwood Comprehensive School
This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Building Cleaning Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £12.60 per hour, Real Living Wage and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Caerphilly County Borough Council is committed to paying the real Living Wage. The advertised salary for this post therefore includes a pay supplement.
Building Cleaning is a very diverse front line operation providing a cleaning service for all CCBC buildings/establishments throughout the borough. We are looking for an enthusiastic new member of staff to join our team as a cleaner at Blackwood Comprehensive School.
You may be required to work alone or as part of a team.
No experience is necessary as full training will be provided but the right candidate will be able to work independently and to a high standard, have a flexible approach to work but be reliable and a good team player with a willingness to support others where necessary.

The ability to follow instructions and work to agreed level of productivity.
The ability to work as part of a team and support and help others in the workplace.
Willingness to undertake training as required within the role.
