Job summary We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant Clinical Oncology colleague to join our existing Colorectal and Breast Cancer practices. The post-holder will provide oncological treatments (both radiotherapy and systemic treatments) for patients diagnosed with: Colorectal cancers (Isle of Wight) Breast cancers (Portsmouth) The successful candidate will join a team of 3 Clinical Oncologists and 2 Medical Oncologists providing colorectal services to the Portsmouth, West Sussex and Isle of Wight populations. The Colorectal Isle of Wight practice currently has its own MDT, although the expectation is that this will merge with the PHU MDT in the near future. Clinics and chemotherapy for this group of patients are delivered on the Isle of Wight, whilst radiotherapy is delivered at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. There is a nurse prescriber and good CNS support on the island. The post is a 10 PA post, although candidates wishing to work fewer PAs are most welcome to discuss their requirements with the department.
