The Role: as Governance Manager the key responsibility will be to develop, maintain and oversee a high quality corporate governance framework of policies, process and procedures. Responsibilities will include: Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Assurance Undertake the roles of Data Protection and Information Officer; Equality Officer and Complaints Officer Monitor, review and test NILGOCSs internal control framework. Lead, motivate, develop and manage the Governance Team. The Person: we are looking for someone who has excellent leadership skills, enjoys working as part of a team and has a positive and can-do attitude. You will need: A degree (at least 2:1) or equivalent third level qualification Two years experience of working in, and good knowledge of, two or more of the following environments: Governance Internal control/audit Risk Management Data Protection One years experience of the effective management, development and training of staff. Sound knowledge of the purpose and function of risk, audit and assurance processes.
