Position Overview
The Executive Director (ED) has overall strategic and operational responsibility, manages 2 part-time employees, vendors, and suppliers, provides oversight and coordination of daily food packing, attends Board meetings, and emails activity reports to the board. The ED actively engages in promoting the organization’s mission.
Qualifications
1. Strong written and oral communication skills
2. Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative
3. Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups
4. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) & social media
5. Experience working with older adults is a plus

Chestnut Hill Meals on Wheels is a community-based, non-profit organization devoted to meeting the daily nutritional needs of our neighbors challenged by illness, disability, or age. We respect our clients’ desire to live independently, and our dedicated corps of caring volunteers deliver two fresh meals each day, five days a week, fostering interpersonal relations between clients and volunteers while supporting individual freedom.
